About the Role:
As a CBRE Business Services Clerk, you will perform clerical duties in accordance with the office procedures of individual departments. This includes routine mailroom and shipping activities, bookkeeping, typing, office machine operation, and filing.
This job is part of the Office Operations function. They are responsible for providing office support to a client, business function or individual contributor.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, shipping, and database systems.
- Use existing procedures to complete administrative, mailroom, and shipping tasks with limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Compile, copy, sort, and file related to office and business activities.
- Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information and respond to requests.
- Answer common inquiries or complaints from clients, co workers, and/or supervisors and effectively present information to an internal group.
- Understand and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks in detail.
- Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance, including established mailroom and shipping standards.
- Answer telephones, direct calls, take messages.
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary range being offered for the Business Services Clerk is between $55,000-$61,000 per year. The compensation that is provided to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
