About the Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll manage commercial interior renovation projects for a dedicated high profile Financial and Professional Services client and provide advanced management services to achieve the company's strategic business objectives.
This is a hybrid role and requires availability to work on-site in Boston from the client offices a minimum of three days per week.
This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.
What You’ll Do:- Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual commercial real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout.
- Interface directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
- Identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process; conducts standard to sophisticated requests for proposals; completes bid analysis; leads evaluation interviews, recommends resources to clients.
- May lead project delivery resources/team (typically a larger more expert level team) providing project mentorship and direction to achieve project goals.
- Implement communication plans for meetings, written reports, and meeting minutes to ensure client and project resources are advised in real-time. Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation are accurate, timely, and coordinated. Facilitate project meetings.
- Supervise the progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Craft action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
- Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to resolve impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk.
- Demonstrate ability to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 6+ years of proven experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Solid track record of working with senior leadership in a strategic capacity and the ability to lead delivery resources or management of large programs is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while managing multiple projects and/or programs in varying stages. Class "A" Financial or Professional Services Sector experience is helpful.
- The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
- Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.Kahua experience is a plus.
- Expert interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- A solid understanding of the commercial real estate industry in the areas of financial analysis, project management, construction, ethical practices, business operations, marketing, and business development.
- Ability to work flexible hours including after hours and on weekends.
- Ability to report to client’s offices ia minimum of three days per week.
