This is a senior engineering leadership role responsible for driving consistent engineering standards, statutory compliance, and operational excellence across a multi‑site EMEA portfolio. The EMEA Engineering Lead acts as a key technical authority, partnering closely with clients, CBRE operational teams, and regional stakeholders to ensure safe, resilient, and high‑performing facilities.


What You Will Do:
  • Lead engineering standards and statutory compliance across a multi‑site EMEA portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation related to statutory maintenance, health, safety, and environmental management
  • Oversee delivery of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and ensure backlog work orders are closed out effectively
  • Conduct technical audits, operational inspections, and asset condition assessments
  • Identify Single Points of Failure (SPOFs), asset end‑of‑life risks, and system reliability issues
  • Maintain accurate M&E asset data, condition surveys, and forward maintenance plans
  • Review and approve quotations for additional works within authorised limits
  • Ensure audit readiness and timely closure of internal and external audit actions
  • Partner with Project Management teams to enable seamless handover of capital works
  • Collaborate with client IT teams and CBRE’s central Energy Management team
  • Participate in the Account Critical Services Network to drive consistency and best practice
  • Attend client and Facilities Management meetings as a senior technical representative
  • Ensure emergency response, business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management plans are in place
  • Lead incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis, and regulatory reporting as required
  • Support operational budget management through KPI and metrics‑driven performance control
  • Ensure supplier contract compliance, scope adherence, and performance management
  • Ensure Specialist Service Providers operate under approved SOPs, PTWs, and change management processes.


What You Will Need
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Building Services or Facilities Management industry
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a senior engineering or technical leadership role
  • Strong expertise in Mechanical & Electrical services and critical environments
  • Excellent knowledge of FM and engineering statutory compliance legislation
  • Environmental Health & Safety recognised qualification
  • Proven experience supporting engineering audits and regulatory obligations
  • Strong people leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident communicator, comfortable in corporate and blue‑chip client environments
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing supplier contracts and budgets
  • Ability to interrogate and operate BMS systems
  • Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, Generators, HV/LV, AC, UPS, and Water Treatment systems
  • Experience with CMMS and Work Order Management systems (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of sustainability, environmental impact, and energy efficiency
  • Proven ability to assess and validate Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Fluent Polish and English, both written and spoken.
