Small Works Manager, Nike EHQ 

The Small Works Manager is responsible for overseeing small-scale construction and maintenance projects, including on-campus events that require an engineering input, up to a nominal value of €50,000. This role involves managing project planning, execution, and completion while ensuring adherence to budget, quality standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of construction, maintenance and engineering practices. 

What you'll do:

Project Management:
- Plan, execute, and finalize small works projects within specified deadlines and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.

Budget and Resource Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and reported accurately.
- Allocate resources effectively, including manpower and materials, for various projects.

Team Leadership:
- Supervise and lead project teams, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and cooperation.

Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with relevant regulations and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks regularly.

Safety Management:
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the team, adhering to both CBRE and Nike policies and processes.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site to prevent accidents and injuries.

Client Relations:
- Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Understand client needs and expectations to enhance satisfaction and project outcomes.

Reporting:
- Prepare progress reports, including financial reports, for stakeholders and management.
- Document lessons learned and share best practices for future projects.

What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
