We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Specialist / Senior Specialist to join our People Operations team in Singapore. This role balances core operational delivery with continuous improvement. Approximately 60% of your time will be spent managing complex BAU activities, including payroll operations, employee lifecycle administration, pass processing, ServiceNow case management, and compliance-related matters.
The remaining 40% of the role focuses on process optimisation and transformation. You will contribute to streamlining workflows, supporting automation and transformation initiatives, and identifying and addressing root causes of recurring operational issues.
This is not a purely strategic role. You will be hands-on in processing and delivery, while also having genuine ownership and accountability to drive improvements and enhance how People Operations functions.


What You’ll Do
  • Drive operational efficiency by identifying manual or repetitive processes and implementing sustainable improvements.
  • Ensuring service levels and KPIs are consistently met. Act as a point of escalation for Shared Services, resolving complex issues and identifying root causes.
  • Be part of our HR transformation initiatives, working with internal and external stakeholders to improve productivity.
  • Support in regional and global People Platform projects, including participation in user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Administer benefits and leave programs with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage end to end work pass processes (applications, renewals, and cancellations), ensuring all pass types are handled accurately and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance through internal and external audits, and statutory reporting.
  • Maintain and continuously update SOPs, process documentation, and internal guidelines to reflect current practices and controls.


What You’ll Need
  • Degree/Diploma in HR, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in complex HR Operations and/or Payroll Processing.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll administration and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in multinational environments and shared service models is advantageous.
  • High levels of discretion, critical thinking, and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Oracle PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, Taleo, Avature, and MS Office Suite.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and ability to work independently under pressure.
