About the Role:
As Payment Controller you will be responsible for processing payments in various financial systems and handling issues related to payable. Main goal of employee with this position will be to capture Accounts Payables related matters and independently execute payment transactions and lead the communication with Business and internal Team in CBRE to resolve queries.
The What You’ll Do:
- Processing payment of BACs, Priority and Eurozone runs. Setting up payments on bank line and acquiring the authorization.
- Providing the 3rd parties with remittance advice to allow proper cash allocation.
- Maintaining payment records and ensuring that payment filing is kept up to date.
- Providing commentary against any variances in the monthly bank reconciliation.
- Providing information requested for audits.
- Monitoring the finance email inbox and acting as the main point of contact for all accounting queries.
- Ensuring any potential problems or irregularities, are reported to managers on a timely basis - Continuous review and improvement of internal payment controls and processes.
- Other duties assigned by supervisor and line manager.
What You’ll Need:
- Fluent in English.
- Strong attention to details and good organisational skills.
- Reliable and committed.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word)
- Capability to adapt to quickly changing and demanding environment.
- Ability to drive, analyse and implement process improvements.
- Pro-active approach, willingness to learn and share knowledge with others
