About the Role:

As a CBRE Client Consulting Principal, you will be responsible for implementing and driving strategic goals and deliverables for clients and the company.

This job is part of the Client Consulting function. They are responsible for Advisory services in relation to real estate operations and investments.


What You’ll Do:

  • Develop proposal responses and deliverables for client pursuits. Drive all high-profile project engagements from creation through execution. Guide change and program management efforts for clients.
  • Establish performance objectives related to the goals of the team. Develop 1-, 5- and 10-year real estate plans.
  • Align with the line of business platform. This includes the subject area, geographic resources, and experts able to aid clients' needs.
  • Achieve financial, operational, and other measures as defined in deliverables. Establish for both department and clients.
  • Interview business units and key business partners to identify future business direction. Note growth, labor, and market changes that could impact real estate requirements. Provide insights for strategic and/or optimization-focused initiatives.
  • Apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles, advanced techniques, and theories to create unprecedented solutions.
  • Showcase in-depth expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, and/or technologies within own function.
  • Use experience and knowledge of all job areas within a function, practical experience in several functional areas or businesses, or concentrated knowledge of a particular discipline to coach and guide others.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Negotiates with senior management, customers, regulators, or vendors to influence decisions of strategic importance. Anticipate potential objections, and persuade others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Drive the direction and resource allocation for programs, projects, or services.
  • Significantly impact the design of policies and procedures. Provide moderate impact on the business direction through the development of innovative services or products.
What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Real estate license (where required by state law).
  • Multi-dimensional, conceptual, and innovative thinking to develop new solutions.
  • Ability to identify and solves the most complex problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Client Consulting Principal position is $225,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Client Consulting Principal position is $250,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
