About the Role:
As a CBRE 2026 Summer Associate, you will play a key role in providing strategic analysis and guidance to executive leadership across business development, business reporting, operations and capital allocation for CBRE’s Capital Markets division. In this position, you will support leadership in planning and executing both strategic and tactical initiatives to drive growth across CBRE’s Capital Markets business.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategy Execution
- Support execution of strategic plans, budget development, monthly reporting, and line of business initiatives.
- Manage tasks and analyses across multiple disciplines within the line of business including, investment properties, debt and structured finance and investment banking.
- Market & Industry Analysis
- Perform in-depth research on product types, markets, and market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Develop advanced reports, process improvement recommendations, and strategic presentations for internal and client use.
- Collaborate with leadership on organizational change initiatives and provide economic underwriting analysis.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Prepare and present reports, financial statements, and marketing updates for senior leadership.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication through internal and external correspondence.
- Change Management & Operational Support
- Assist in driving departmental change and program management efforts.
- Support field operations with best practices, policies, and issue resolution.
- Continuously evaluate standards and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Deal Analysis & Evaluation
- Support senior leadership in analyzing and evaluating transactions or capital allocation decisions related to producers, partnerships, and investment opportunities that are aligned with line of business strategy.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess industry trends and growth potential.
- Support transactional team as needed on an ad-hoc basis

- Apply broad business knowledge to address complex, multi-dimensional challenges.
- Influence stakeholders and negotiate with internal and external partners to achieve common goals.

- Education
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

- Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
