About the Role

As a CBRE Building Maintenance Technician, you will support a pharmaceutical client onsite, Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

You’ll handle fit and finish repairs, assist with basic equipment troubleshooting, and use your computer skills to manage work orders and documentation. The role is hands on, customer facing, and focused on maintaining a clean, compliant, and well functioning facility.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform a wide range of interior and exterior facility repairs, including patching and painting, basic carpentry (doors, trim, hardware, shelving, framing), and installation or repair of flooring, tile, caulking, and related building finishes.
  • Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs, including fixing leaks, clearing drains, replacing fixtures, and installing or replacing light fixtures, outlets, and switches.
  • Conduct and complete preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems, including conducting routine inspections, diagnosing issues, and completing necessary corrective work.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, communicate job status and recommendations clearly, and ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with code standards.
What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position is $24.00 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position is $28.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
