About the Role:


As a Associate Engineering Drafer, you will assist the team with designing and preparing advanced
electronic working plans, maps, and drawings for projects. This job is part of the Design function. They
are responsible for preparing and producing proposals and planning applicaioons for internal and
external partners.

This person will need to be onsite in the Denver office.


What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare prints of various original plans and records for internal and external agency use. Review updated
  • various drawings for changes, utilizing computer-aided drafing techniques.
  • Gather data to complete complex drawings by visiting the site directly. Conduct surveys of space and
  • prepare detailed reports.
  • Verify the development of maps and drawings that are spacially accurate and technically correct.
  • Work with internal and external partners to obtain details of projects, including equipment, materials,
  • and codes.
  • Collect on-site information and store it electronically to maintain current building conditions and data.
  • Recognize and solve typical and atypical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory
  • approval.
  • Evaluate and select solutions from established options.
  • Impact team through the quality of the services or information provided.
  • Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and
  • guidance.
  • Coordinate and work with designers and engineers to provide drawing updates.
  • Understand and maintain CAD industry and company standards.
  • Manage the local document management system. This includes technical documentation and site master
  • drawings.
  • Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with litle or no precedent.
  • May recommend new techniques.
  • Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of
  • experience and education will be considered.
  • Be proficient in the latest version of AutoCAD (currently 2019).
  • Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.
  • Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Capture and prepare as-built conditions including maintaining master architectural drawings.
  • Coordinate with consulting architects to ensure all architectural design drawings are accurate and maintained in the database.
  • Prepare polyline updates to support strategic database summaries to facilitate customer requests and requirements.
  • US Citizen required.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is 60,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is 70,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
