About the Role:

As a CBRE Security Lead, you will assist with escalated physical, electronic, travel, and emergency security operations.

This job is part of the Security and Fire job function. They are responsible for the physical security and fire safety of the organization or other tangible assets.


What You’ll Do:

  • Promote positive public relations by offering courteous service to all tenants, visitors, and guests while adhering to their requests.
  • Assist with high-level building operations including inspecting the grounds to ensure security requirements are met.
  • Work with law enforcement agencies regarding threats, investigations, and other security-related issues.
  • Review relevant registers and records. Ensure accuracy and enter it into the system.
  • Enforce parking regulations and report fire and safety hazards. Protect the organization and clients from damage and loss.
  • Assist security vendors with new office buildouts. Ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and implement training for access control systems.
  • Review, provide, and present an executive summary of changes to programming to appropriate parties.
  • Identify and conduct advanced research on open-source information to include internet sites, news sources, and private and governmental organizations.
  • Recognize and solve typical and atypical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval.
  • Evaluate and select solutions from established options.
  • Impact team through the quality of the services or information provided.
  • Follow standardized procedures and practices and receives regular but moderate supervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need:

  • Diploma/ SPM with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
  • Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • An established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems are required.
  • Requires intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions from available options without supervisory approval.
  • Ability to explain detailed and complicated information within the team in a clear and concise manner.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with a robust inquisitive mindset.
  • General math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups. or complicated information within the team.
