About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Business Analyst/Operations Specialist to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for driving strategic decision-making through robust data analysis, reporting, and process optimization, while also ensuring the integrity, quality, and security of our data assets. Furthermore, this role will play a key part in the adoption and successful rollout of AI-driven digital productivity tools, fostering innovation and efficiency across the organization. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, lead data governance initiatives, collaborate across departments, and contribute to the successful implementation of projects, all while upholding our core values.
This is a fully remote role.
What You’ll Do:
- Generate and review reports utilizing aggregated data from diverse sources to support comprehensive evaluations, improvements, and recommendations, with a strong focus on ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Verify the accuracy of provided information and address escalated requests from both management and vendors, reinforcing data quality standards.
- Utilize and interpret advanced scenario planning tools and models, alongside investigating emerging trends in general business conditions, including advancements in AI-driven digital productivity solutions.
- Proactively identify significant opportunities for enhancement for both clients and the company, leveraging data insights and potential applications of AI tools.
- Collaborate effectively with personnel from other departments and information technology groups to ensure successful project implementations and to define and implement data standards and policies.
- Support the evaluation, selection, and successful rollout of AI-driven digital productivity tools, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
- Develop and deliver training programs and materials for new AI-driven tools, guiding users through new workflows and promoting effective utilization.
- Oversee the maintenance and reporting of established benchmarks and performance metrics.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for key systems, processes, day-to-day operational functions, and the application of AI-driven productivity solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce data governance policies and procedures in support of the Business Intelligence Manager to ensure consistent data definitions, quality, and usage across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with data owners and other stakeholders to establish clear data definitions, standards, and data quality rules.
- Monitor data usage and ensure compliance with established data governance policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
- Actively participate in data governance committees or working groups, contributing expertise and driving initiatives related to data stewardship, quality, and policy.
- Apply established principles, techniques, and procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and resolve routine problems.
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of their own job discipline and possess some knowledge of related job disciplines within the function.
- Primarily operate within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Communicate complex information clearly and concisely in straightforward situations, including explanations of AI tool functionalities and benefits.
- Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and effectively influence others to reach agreements.
- Positively impact the quality of both their own work and that of their team members.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude, especially in addressing data-related challenges and technology adoption hurdles.
- Familiarity with scenario planning and business trend analysis is a plus.
- Experience with project implementation and cross-functional collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The compensation is about $109,000 annual base salary plus 10% target bonus based on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
