As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance across two multi-story medical office buildings located in Sacramento, CA and Elk Grove, CA. The successful candidate will be highly proficient in HVAC systems and possess a broad range of facility maintenance skills, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and safety for our clients. This is a client-facing role requiring professionalism and excellent service delivery.
What You’ll Do:- Oversee and perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of building systems, including mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Conduct extensive preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, encompassing boiler operations, complex troubleshooting, and unit repairs.
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on facility generators to ensure a continuous and reliable power supply.
- Lead and execute fire and life safety inspections and maintenance, including emergency exit signs, fire extinguishers, and other critical life safety infrastructure.
- Provide expert electrical troubleshooting for diverse facility equipment, including HVAC systems and various lighting systems.
- Maintain and diligently monitor the facilities' Building Management System (BMS) to optimize operational efficiency and environmental control.
- Review and execute assigned work orders, accurately estimate time and material requirements, and maintain an organized inventory of adequate supplies and tools.
- Implement proactive preventive maintenance programs to maximize the lifespan and efficiency of building machinery and systems, overseeing all necessary repairs and emergency maintenance responses.
- Conduct thorough inspections of building systems to ensure equipment operates within design capabilities and achieves prescribed environmental conditions.
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Operate a provided company vehicle, traveling between sites efficiently, with travel time between sites compensated.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC system maintenance. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Possession of a clean driving record.
- Experience with Building Management System (BMS) maintenance.
- Proficiency in boiler maintenance and operations.
- Universal EPA certification.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
