About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of healthcare facilities across the Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Durango markets. This critical role is responsible for ensuring the operational excellence, safety, and compliance of approximately 60 non-acute care facilities, including medical office suites, clinics, and urgent care centers.
You will lead a team of Mobile Engineers, manage comprehensive maintenance programs, foster strong client relationships, and drive operational efficiencies to support our clients' healthcare delivery mission.
What You’ll Do:- Manage a large portfolio of healthcare facilities, including Medical Office Suites, Clinics, Non-acute care facilities, and Urgent Care centers.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure facilities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Work onsite and travel to various sites at least two days a week, with remote work possible when not required onsite.
- Supervise facilities maintenance for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, life safety systems, and general maintenance.
- Train, mentor, and formally supervise 6 Mobile Engineers, including scheduling daily activities and ensuring timely work order completion.
- Mentor and provide training to the team to reduce reliance on outside vendors, promoting self-performance of maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Manage vendor relationships, review invoicing procedures, evaluate price quotes for parts, services, and labor, and oversee the portfolio budget to ensure cost savings.
- Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
- Interact with executive-level stakeholders, lead meetings to provide updates, and maintain positive client relationships, addressing unresolved facility issues. The role is client-facing.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
- Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
- 5 years of proven experience in facilities management, preferably within a healthcare or multi-site environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a technical team.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to facility operations and safety.
- Excellent budget management and cost control abilities.
- Exceptional client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel regularly within the specified geographic areas.
- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
- Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $100,000 annually [or $48.08 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $120,000 annually [or $57.69 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
