About the Role:

 

As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

 

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Assign and manage work orders for repairs and maintenance
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and tools
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various building systems
  • Comply with codes, regulations, and company directives
  • Develop and implement energy management programs
  • Oversee outside contractors and respond to client inquiries
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs
  • Review and sign off on system inspections
  • Develop new methods and processes to improve performance
  • Coach and train others in job disciplines
  • Lead by example and model company values
  • Influence others to adopt new ideas and perspectives
  • Contribute to process improvements and new product development

 

 

About you:

  • Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in Facilities or Building systems.
  • Has strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Amenable to work on a shifting schedule, 6 days a week, weekends/ holidays
  • Can start ASAP
