About the Role:

As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will oversee and execute a comprehensive range of general and preventative maintenance activities across six healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and compliance of all building systems, including mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, life safety, and control systems, within a portfolio of clinics and medical office buildings. This role requires regular travel between sites utilizing a company-provided vehicle.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee and perform diverse general and preventative maintenance tasks across a portfolio of six healthcare facilities.
  • Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on critical building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, industrial, structural, life safety, and control systems.
  • Ensure all facility and building systems meet or exceed applicable operational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement robust preventative maintenance programs to maximize the lifespan and efficiency of building machinery and systems.
  • Perform regular inspections of building and industrial systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure operational capabilities align with design specifications and client environmental conditions.
  • Oversee compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives pertaining to building operations and workplace safety.
  • Manage and complete assigned work orders efficiently through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Estimate time and material requirements for repairs and maintain accurate inventory levels of adequate supplies and tools.
  • Execute general maintenance tasks such as drywall repair, painting, and light bulb replacement.
  • Perform minor plumbing and electrical maintenance as required.
  • Focus significant effort on preventative maintenance and work orders related to facility HVAC systems.
  • Operate a company-provided vehicle to regularly travel between facilities in the assigned portfolio.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols while operating company-issued vehicles.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3+ years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
