CBRE is the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, with over 70,000 employees across 48 countries. At CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, we deliver integrated facilities and real estate management to major organisations worldwide.

We are seeking a Technical Contract Supervisor to take a leading role in the delivery of technical services across a large and complex operational environment.

The Opportunity

As the Technical Contract Supervisor, you’ll be the site’s primary point of contact for all technical service delivery. You’ll manage a skilled team to deliver planned, corrective and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance, safety, and exceptional service at all times.

This role is ideal for someone currently operating at supervisory level on a major FM contract—or an existing manager ready to step into a broader and more strategically significant role.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leadership & Service Delivery

  • Act as the Technical Services lead for all in-scope and out-of-scope technical activities
  • Drive maintenance excellence and continuous improvement
  • Manage a team of technicians, maximising self-delivery wherever possible
  • Oversee and coordinate specialist subcontractors, ensuring all works meet CBRE and client compliance standards

Technical Management

  • Plan and schedule all maintenance activities efficiently
  • Support and occasionally undertake maintenance/repair activities when required
  • Provide technical solutions and quotations for small project works
  • Maintain strong performance in health, safety, and environmental standards

People & Performance

  • Develop training plans and meaningful succession pathways for the team
  • Ensure technicians remain fully trained and competent
  • Lead by example and support technicians in daily operations

Financial & Stakeholder Management

  • Work with the Technical Contract Manager to manage budgets effectively
  • Identify opportunities for expanded scope and additional services
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong engineering background (Electrical and Mechanical)
  • Solid understanding of maintenance processes and work order systems
  • Excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills
  • Confidence in managing multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence and motivate
  • Knowledge of EHS requirements and safe systems of work
  • Ideally some AP experience (HV, LV, Pressure, Confined Space etc.)
  • Basic understanding of FM contract financial processes

About the Environment

You’ll be working within a complex, multi-asset setting that includes a wide range of technical systems, such as:

  • High and low voltage infrastructure
  • Chillers, boilers, AHUs and HVAC plant
  • Fire safety systems
  • Lifts, escalators and access systems
  • Building fabric and lighting systems
  • Extensive utility networks (electrical, gas, water, compressed air)

This role offers exposure to a uniquely challenging technical landscape, ideal for someone who thrives in diverse and dynamic environments.

Why Join CBRE?

  • Be part of a global leader in real estate services
  • Genuine opportunities for career development and progression
  • Strong organisational culture built on safety, innovation, and integrity
  • A position designed to support long-term succession and professional growth
