About the Role:

At CBRE, we empower our teams to deliver world‑class facilities support with professionalism, safety, and technical excellence. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support a large industrial facility, working Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

In this role, you will perform a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the site running at peak performance. Responsibilities include general building repairs, basic electrical and plumbing support, carpentry, painting, and locksmithing duties such as rekeying locks, repairing door hardware, and supporting access control needs.

The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced industrial environment, demonstrates strong troubleshooting skills, and consistently delivers the high‑quality service CBRE is known for.

What You’ll Do:
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Rekeying locks, repairing door hardware
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Drywall repair, paint & patch
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Must have Valid Driver License
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
