About the role
This job is part of the Product Management job function. They are responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of products and product extensions during all life cycle stages.

What you'll do
  • Responsible for leading a significant global area or Function for a Business Segment with overall budget responsibility. If a sales role, the book of business will contain >$750K. May contribute to revenue target attainment.
  • Direct highly visible initiatives, projects, and operational activities with a high level of risk and complexity on a sub-function or business processes.
  • Focus on the achievement of departmental goals and has a significant contribution to achieving functional goals.
  • Operate with almost complete autonomy on operational matters. Work requires some risk.
  • May participate in the development of corporate strategic plans. Recommend solutions to strategic issues of importance to the company. 
  • Envision and plans projects that are strategic in nature, affecting the entire company or several functional areas.
  • Accountable for executing and empowering the strategy set by the senior leadership and integrating policy within the function and across the organization. Strategic planning is horizon 3+ years with an impact on multiple cultures and geographies.
  • Communicate, negotiate, advise, and influence stakeholders with great latitude. Manage and represent internal stakeholder relationships. Promote internal collaboration across functions and stakeholders. Speak to larger groups on a wide range of topics. Communicates on highly complex topics.
  • Use intuition and experience to complement data. Evaluate key business and organizational challenges within the function. Direct the resolution of business problems. 
  • Problems are ambiguous and sometimes complex. Solutions need to be devised based on information requiring some judgment to apply new solutions and concepts. Implementation of solutions requires a short to medium-term view.

What you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Product Management, Information Systems, Design, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in product management, digital product leadership, or technology delivery management (e.g., Product Management, Design, Research, or overall accountability for product development and delivery).
  • Previous experience with the delivery of relevant digital products supporting internal and external customers, preferably in a global commercial real estate context.
  • Proven experience managing technology products with a track record of delivering tangible business outcomes.
  • Capable of analyzing complex data sets and delivering actionable business recommendations.
  • First-hand Design Thinking knowledge and background leveraging third-party best-in-class tools where needed across the ecosystem.
  • Ability to run and support a strong prioritization process that creates clarity for stakeholders on what will happen and what will not happen.
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to articulate and evangelize a strategy at every level of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making and optimize campaigns
