ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Change Manager to support high-impact, fast-moving change initiatives for a leading technology organization in the Bay Area. This role is designed for an adaptable professional who thrives in ambiguity, operates with urgency, and excels at coordinating complex programs by aligning the right people, insights, and execution at the right time.
Rather than serving as a deep subject-matter expert in traditional change disciplines, this role focuses on supporting strategic coordination, facilitating communication, and building momentum across multiple workstreams. Working closely with Senior Change Managers and program leadership, you will help ensure that initiatives stay on track, stakeholders remain engaged, and deliverables are met with quality and consistency.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Support complex change initiatives in a fast-paced technology environment, assisting in the
management of multiple concurrent workstreams with clarity and accountability.
• Help distill ambiguity into clear action plans by synthesizing inputs from diverse stakeholders into
prioritized recommendations and next steps.
• Serve as a reliable partner to leaders and the broader program team, helping prepare concise
communications, insights, and decision support materials.
• Assist in facilitating discussions and working sessions, maintaining focus, resolving friction, and
driving alignment and forward momentum.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and subject-matter experts, ensuring dependencies, timelines,
and deliverables are tracked and progressing.
• Navigate evolving program structures and shifting priorities, adjusting plans as directed while
maintaining delivery discipline.
• Build and sustain productive working relationships with stakeholders across the organization,
engaging with confidence and professionalism.
• Translate research, data, and qualitative inputs into clear narratives that inform strategy and enable
execution.
• Track success metrics, risks, and progress indicators, escalating issues to senior team members and
recommending course corrections as needed.
• Manage the change management communication plan for assigned initiatives, drafting clear and
targeted communications to stakeholders impacted by change management programming, and
ensuring messages are timely, consistent, and aligned with overall program strategy.
KEY COMPETENCIES
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to synthesize complex information into clear, audience-
appropriate summaries and updates.
• Comfort with Ambiguity: Good judgment to determine priorities and support action in evolving,
fast-moving environments.
• Facilitation: Solid skills to help guide discussions, align stakeholders, and maintain momentum in
working sessions.
• Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to adjust quickly to changing program environments and
competing priorities.
• Professional Presence: Ability to build relationships, engage stakeholders constructively, and
influence effectively.
• Program Management Mindset: Focused on coordination, orchestration, and delivery across
multiple workstreams.
• Collaborative Approach: Ability to work effectively with subject-matter experts and cross-functional
partners rather than personally owning all content areas.
• Bias for Action: Urgency and outcomes orientation in high-velocity, high-expectation environments.
What You’ll Need:
