This pivotal role is perfect for an experienced professional who excels at balancing strategic oversight with robust business development and project execution.
The Opportunity
Based in our vibrant Sydney or Melbourne CBD offices, you will be instrumental in expanding our growing Sustainability division across the Pacific region. This is more than a leadership role; it’s an opportunity to shape the future of sustainable real estate, leveraging your expertise in engineering or sustainability to deliver exceptional client outcomes and cultivate new business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Strategic Leadership & Growth: Drive national growth for the Sustainability division, managing P&L responsibilities, and identifying & securing both new and existing business development opportunities.
- Client Engagement & Solutions: Partner with key clients to deliver critical ESG Due Diligence reporting, comprehensive Energy and Water Audits, and cutting-edge Net Zero Carbon Reporting for diverse assets and portfolios.
- Expert Advisory: Provide high-level technical advice and innovative strategies, enabling clients to meet and exceed their sustainability goals.
- Team & Project Management: Balance strategic direction, active business development, and hands-on project delivery, while fostering a high-performing team environment.
- Market Influence: Position CBRE as the leading sustainability authority in the commercial real estate sector, expanding our footprint and thought leadership.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience within the ESG building sector, with a proven track record in successful business development and client acquisition.
- Extensive expertise in assessing building performance from a sustainability perspective.
- A results-oriented and collaborative approach, underpinned by CBRE’s core values of Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence.
