Mobile Electrical Engineer

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and installing electrical plant and equipment, ensuring swift resolution of faults and defects, and supporting critical systems operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown maintenance requests within SLA
• Support critical works on UPS systems, generators, and commercial installations
• Apply risk-focused maintenance strategies for critical plant/systems
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and works requests
• Undertake upgrade and installation projects
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with financial processes

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

• 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations (Amendment 3)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified electrical engineer
• Experience with generators and UPS maintenance
• Strong understanding of building maintenance systems

Desirable:

• Knowledge of BMS, HVAC systems, and CDM processes
• Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH)
• Testing and inspection of electrical systems
• Water hygiene (L8) awareness
