Role Purpose

CBRE is seeking a Loan Analyst based in Madrid whose primary responsibility will be supporting the Asset Managers and Loan Administrator in all aspects of the servicing of allocated commercial real estate loans.

Key Responsibilities

·       Services assigned commercial real estate loans in the UK and continental Europe and monitors their performance.

·       Provides general customer service to lenders and borrowers and administration departments as per the financing documentation.

·       Manages the set-up of new loans in loan servicing system and responsible for maintaining the currency and integrity of loan information.

·       Manages loan document files and document imaging.

·       Administration and bookkeeping of the transaction.

·       Setting of interest periods and reference rates applicable for each period.

·       Calculation amounts to be paid by the Borrowers and lenders in accordance with loan documentation i.e., fees, interest, and principal amounts.

·       Execute payment instructions on each payment date according to waterfall provided.

·       Liaises with designated Borrower Account Bank to ensure all signing and account access arrangements (via electronic banking) as set out in the loan documentation are in place to allow movement of funds on each IPD.

·       Maintain KYC information for all bank account signatories.

·       Provide assistance as required to Asset Managers in responding to borrower’s Audit enquiries.

Person Specification/Requirements

·       Solid experience in UK & European real estate finance sector.

·       Debt due diligence and transaction management expertise.

·       Execution and documentation experience.

·       Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously.

·       Excellent organizational skills.

·       Strong client facing and communication skills (interacting with both investors and borrowers).

·       Presentational skill.

·       Team mentality.
