In this role, you will oversee and support a portfolio of approximately 65 sites across Northern California, including retail bank branches, administrative locations, and ATMs. This portfolio consists of a mix of leased and owned facilities, ranging from small to mid‑sized buildings.
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will partner closely with trusted service providers, vendors, Property Managers, landlords, and internal stakeholders to ensure the seamless operation, maintenance, and sustainability of all sites. Your work keeps every location running efficiently and safely - allowing branch teams to stay focused on serving customers.
This position sits within our Facilities Management function, where we go beyond day‑to‑day operations. You’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing asset performance, driving operational excellence, and delivering best‑in‑class service across your entire Northern California portfolio.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
- This role will require 30-50% travel to conduct quarterly and annual assessments of bank branch locations, ensuring consistent facility performance, safety, and compliance across the portfolio.
- Oversee and coordinate facility work order tickets, ensuring timely response and resolution
- Prepare and manage capital and operating projects.
- Manage all aspects of budget development, implementation and monitoring.
- Perform facility inspections, following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
- Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
- Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
- Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence stakeholders to achieve consensus.
- Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be apparent in existing systems and processes.
What You’ll Need:
- Must have proven experience in managing commercial facilities, including overseeing daily operations, coordinating maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and managing vendor relationships
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
- Must have experience managing multi-unit facility portfolio of approximately 40-50
- The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience in managing and overseeing a budget.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong technical aptitude is required.
- Possessing a foundational understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems beneficial.
- This role requires strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and positive client interaction.
- Skilled in navigating the exchange of sensitive and complex information, setting performance expectations, and resolving issues.
- Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department; experience with managing a team.
- Strong organizational skills complemented by a keen inquisitive mindset.
- Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $130,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
