Account Management Lead


As a CBRE BSO Portfolio Services Global Data Manager - Lead, you will be acting both in the role of Global Data Manager on a few accounts as well as take leadership of a team of Global Data Managers (expected 5-6 direct reports). You will be accountable for establishing & maintaining a strong working relationship with Clients. In the role, you will be in charge of commercial client care, finance on the account and act as primary point of contact for Client and internal stakeholders for lease administration matters.

This job is part of strategic Account Management Team within Portfolio Services, highly client-facing.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a team of between 5 and 6 Global Data Managers and Data Governance Experts.

  • Accountable for establishing & maintaining a strong working relationship with Client.

  • Serve as the "bridge" between delivery teams and Client, including overall KPI/SLA monitoring, scope monitoring.

  • Act as key POC for all Lease Administration matters and queries for Client and stakeholders.

  • Take accountability fir the portfolio and lease administration data integrity and governance.

  • Participate as a key team member in the Accounts Global Integrated Services team, as well as internal and external Client meetings.

  • Act as primary point of contact to Client, including escalations management, periodic business reviews etc.

  • Commercial monitoring of the Client MSA & commercial client care:

- MSA control including scope monitoring

- Key participant in contract renewals or amendments (supported by Sales & Solutioning Team)

- Cross-selling of PS services

  • Develop strong cross-functional working relationships with wider global support services teams on the Account.

  • Ensure policies and procedures are valid and updated regularly where needed.

  • Support in escalations across the Delivery Team, monitoring escalated issues and facilitating timely resolution.

  • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the account including process automations.

  • Monitor the performance and quality of activities performed based on agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs)

  • Finance oversight on the account:

- Ensuring proper reconciliation of account budgets

- P&L management and reporting

- Invoice preparation and payment monitoring.

  • Involvement in strategy building for the account, in cooperation with Client, wider Account team and other internal stakeholders.



What You’ll Need:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in account or delivery management for lease administration and/or rent payment processes within real estate.
  • Fluent, native-like English is a must.

  • Fluent German is nice to have

  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong client care and service excellence focus including process excellence and automations.

  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive approach with Client and improvement focus.

  • Wide understanding of PS business offering (cross-selling).

  • Experience in managing risks and escalations.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a highly changeable working environment.

  • Team player with excellent presentation skills.
