About the Role:

As a CBRE Procurement Sr. Analyst in a Lab Services role, you will design, evaluate, and provide complex reports based on the collection of data related to the sourcing, contracting, management, and performance of suppliers and vendors.

This is a fully remote opportunity with about 10-25% travel required. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage service contract renewals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and comprehensive financial and administrative services to clients by working closely with Operations Teams and Finance department.
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers to achieve the best value solution for the client.
  • Liaise with vendors and the client to assure the alignment regarding service needs and cost.
  • Understand and interpret service contract needs using data provided.
  • Maintain data integrity of databases and make changes as required to enhance accuracy, usefulness, and access.
  • Collect and rationalize complex data from many sources. Conduct advanced financial evaluation.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy. Use data from many sources to create a complete overview that includes improvements and recommendation.
  • Maintain contract tracker documents with contract renewal information (PO number, date PO raised, final pricing, approval date).
  • Present the results of reports along with their relative impacts on the business.
  • Design, generate, review, and implement reports to support account, client, and global sourcing requirements.
  • Support new supplier onboarding as required.
  • Contribute to savings projects and strategies.
  • Drive implementation of savings opportunities to ensure customer and contractual financial savings.
  • Point of contact for key processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions.
  • Review forecasts and investigate trends in general business conditions. Make strategic recommendations to business.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Previous experience in Procurement/Sourcing
  • Experienced with negotiations.
  • Prior experience in managing and overseeing 3rd party service contracts related to lab equipment preferred.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • Excellent PC based skills, with in-depth experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office products (examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Smartsheet.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Able to track and manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to communicate and develop effective relationships with people at all levels across the business
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • High motivation to complete responsibilities timely and accurately with additional focus on comprehensiveness
