This CBRE Occupancy Senior Planner role in Mountain View, CA, presents a compelling opportunity for a seasoned professional. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring on-site presence Tuesday through Thursday, and focuses on delivering space planning expertise, data analysis, and insightful reporting for large and high-profile clients.
Key responsibilities encompass space planning design and optimization, data mining for relevant information, creating and presenting comprehensive reports, and interpreting space planning metrics to provide actionable recommendations. This senior-level position demands a strong foundation in space planning principles, data analysis tools, and excellent communication skills, with the potential to work with a prestigious clientele within a leading real estate services firm.
What You’ll Do:
- Create conceptual plans, drawings, presentations, and recommendations for the real estate team, stakeholders, and steering committees, incorporating move lists, charters, and block/stack plans.
- Work with team members to gather business intelligence, including move sequencing, and conduct evaluations of affected work areas.
- Manage space walks, review, and maintain occupancy data within the system of record.
- Prepare forecasts and evaluate space planning trends based on business conditions.
- Conduct interviews and discussions with clients to gather, coordinate, and synthesize project requirements, including functional, operational, and cultural aspects.
- Make recommendations, implement space planning code changes, and liaise with Change Management teams as needed.
- Facilitate post-occupancy support and reviews to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Apply general knowledge, explain complex information, impact quality of work, and lead by example, often requiring the ability to convince others to reach agreement.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Certification in Corporate Real Estate, LEED, or Facilities Management is required.
- Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
- Ability to review possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
