About the Role:

CBRE is looking for Commercial HVAC Technicians who love solving problems and keeping facilities cool, comfortable, and running smoothly. Sound like you? As a CBRE HVAC Technician, this job will support a 2 building, 220k sq ft Life Science Facility in Branchburg NJ that requires an expert commercial HVAC Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on building systems, equipment, and instruments. which includes Roof Top Units, Boilers & Humidifiers.
SIGN ON BONUS: $1500
Mon- Fri Days 6:30-2:30 with OT available

What You'll Do:
  • Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
  • Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
  • Must be skilled with refrigerant recovery, vacuum pumps and digital manifold gauge.
What You'll Need:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4+ years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required.
  • EPA universal required
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a

candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position

$35.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is

or $45.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate

will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  Successful candidates will also

be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
