This role is for an organized, detail-focused finance professional with experience in accounts receivable and lease administration to join a Property Management Accounting team. The successful candidate will serve as an Accounts Receivable Officer responsible for supporting onshore and offshore processing teams, ensuring the integrity of trust accounting, receipting, and some lease maintenance activities, and collaborating with Property Managers and other internal and offshore stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant outcomes.

The opportunity

  • Deliver tenant billings and accounts receivable support, including complex transactions, debtors reconciliations and accurate data maintenance in ERP systems (MRI/Yardi) 
  • Provide timely, professional assistance to Property Managers, on billings receivable queries with a strong customer focused approach.
  • Ensure financial accuracy and compliance by maintaining trust accounts in line with legislation and supporting internal and external audit requirements.
  • Review and quality check daily work from the offshore processing team, offering guidance, coaching and support where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting SOP updates, system and process enhancement initiatives, training activities and other ad hoc duties.

About You

  • Demonstrated work experience in Accounts Receivable with property industry experience is preferrable but not essential
  • Excellent time management, analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer focused approach.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • A positive, team oriented and adaptable attitude.
