JOB SUMMARY

Under limited supervision, applies cash and accrual accounting principles to prepare, analyze, maintain and deliver complete and accurate financial reports for a moderately complex portfolio of CBRE clients and properties. Handles accounts payable and receivable, manage budgets, prepare financial statements, and analyze financial data related to properties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Completes intermediate to advanced level accounting transactions in preparation of client financial statement packages.

Creates and posts journal entries. Ensures that all expenses, receipts, owner’s distributions, funding requests and other transactions for the accounting period have been accurately posted.

Prepare all monthly financial reports including bank reconciliation and analyze all Dues schedules and record all financial statements and prepare all reports for site level analysis and provide support to all accounting schedule and maintain same.

Coordinate with property manager to ensure compliance to all procedures and evaluate and prepare all annual budgets and review all expense ledgers and assist in recovery reconciliations.

Adheres to Client Accounting Policies and Procedures (CAPP) to ensure internal and external reporting requirements are consistently met.

Coordinate with Billing and Collection to ensure account receivables are maintained/updated of all transactions and participate in various acquisitions processes within required timeframe and ensure compliance to all internal controls and company policies.

Reviews and audits funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation and authorization in accordance with established operating procedures.

Responds to and resolves issues and requests from management teams and clients regarding various accounting issues and reports, including Profit and Loss statements.

Research open accounting issues and recognizes potential issues and/or conflicts so corrective action can intercept and minimize issues.

Participates in budgeting and forecasting for assigned property portfolio, new property and client transitions, and client audit requests.

Monitors scope of services delivered and provides feedback to manager regarding any changes in scope.

Coordinates work with other team members within single point-of-contact (SPOC) guidelines.

Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any related courses.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in property management accounting, real estate finance, or any related industry.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in handling year-end audit and tax compliance, or any related scope.

Strong understanding of property management and real estate development, and a high level of attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.

Amenable to work in Makati City.
