Job Summary:

The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of commercial projects through effective quality assurance and quality control processes. The role involves conducting inspections, managing documentation, and collaborating with project teams to uphold standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans and procedures for commercial projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Review and approve subcontractor quality plans and procedures.
• Identify and document non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and reports.
• Assist in training project staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in QA/QC in commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC software.
• Certification in Quality Control (e.g., Six Sigma, CQI) is a plus.
