Mobile Maintenance Plumber

About the Role

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are currently recruiting a Mobile Maintenance Plumber to support multiple sites across Coventry, Daventry, and Hinckley.

This role involves carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations across a range of building systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs, testing, installation, and fault-finding on plumbing and mechanical systems, including water and medical gas supply systems.
  • Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot water and medical gas supply and distribution systems, including valves, fixtures, and outlets.
  • Install new water and medical gas piping and fixtures (with appropriate certification) in line with drawings, specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain waste and vent lines using appropriate equipment such as plumber’s snakes, vacuum plungers, and jet washers.
  • Complete plumbing safety inspections and planned maintenance on backflow prevention devices (where certified).
  • Support other departments or contractors with plumbing-related projects or installations.
  • Act as a technical resource and provide guidance to colleagues performing basic plumbing tasks safely.
  • Carry out general building maintenance and system operational duties as required.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, arranging additional support when necessary.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (essential)
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities environment
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites
