Compliance Supervisor

The Compliance Supervisor will provide assurance to the client on all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems in the hospital, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation. They will audit the sites folders to make sure all servicing is in date and relevant corrective works have either been completed or quoted for.

Role Summary: 
  • Ensure compliance of all M&E systems (electrical, HVAC, medical gas, fire/life safety, lifting equipment, emergency power, water systems) with all applicable codes, standards, and hospital policies. Conduct audits and make sure corrective actions have been taken.
  • Ensure Risk Register is being updated by Operational Managers and attend review sessions with Hospital Trust Compliance Officer 
  • Assist as necessary with reviews of existing Policies, Procedures, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
  • Maintain ownership of the Master Compliance Tracker for the Account
  • Assist the Technical Site Leads in completing their Trust Cluster reports and present to the client on a monthly basis.
  • Lead on the Quarterly Safety meetings i.e. Medigas / Vent / electrical / pressure / Water / lifts
  • Assist with the upload of documents to elogbooks.
  • Evidence that PPM’s have been completed with the correct documentation.
  • Work closely with the helpdesk for backlog PPM and closing down of completed tasks.
  • Work closely with the Technical Asset Manager on updating of the CAFM system.
  • Bring to the attention to the Senior Leadership Team any hazards or risks not being addressed.

Experience Required:
 
Essential 
  • A good general education
  • Practical application of auditing
  • Membership of IOSH at a minimum of graduate level
  • Practical and demonstrable knowledge of CAFM systems
  • Practical experience in Risk Management
