About the Role:

 

As a CBRE Multi-skilled Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and adjustment of manual and automated door systems to ensure safety, security, and smooth operation.

 

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

 

What You’ll Do:

  •  Install, inspect, and maintain swing doors, sliding doors, revolving doors, and roller shutters
  • Troubleshoot and repair automatic door operators, closers, hinges, tracks, sensors, and locks
  • Service access control doors, magnetic locks, strikes, panic hardware, and card readers
  • Adjust door alignment, tension, speed, and safety settings to meet operational standards
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on door and entry systems
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Respond to door malfunctions, breakdowns, and emergency repair requests
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and security teams as required
  • Maintain service records, inspection reports, and work documentation

 

About you:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or Vocational Graduate of any course related to Facilities Management or Engineering
  • NCII Certificate required
  • At least 3 years of experience in door systems, access control, or building maintenance
  • Has strong technical knowledge of building systems and facilities equipment (Electrical/Mechanical/HVAC)
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Amenable to work on a shifting schedule, 6 days a week, weekends/ holidays
  • Can start ASAP
