About the Role:

Take on a pivotal role where each day brings new challenges and opportunities to make an impact—both remotely and out in the field!

As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the efficient, safe, and sustainable operation of a portfolio of approximately 75 retail bank locations—most of which are based in Washington State. In this role, you’ll spend about 75% of your time in the field conducting on-site bank inspections, ensuring each location operates at peak performance.

Working independently and remotely, you'll support day-to-day facilities needs across multiple sites while delivering seamless service and operational excellence. This role is part of our Facilities Management function, where we go beyond the basics. You’ll collaborate closely with Property Managers, landlords, and vendors to maintain high standards of performance, safety, and customer satisfaction—without direct reports, but with direct influence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Requires approximately 40% travel to client sites and properties.
  • Oversee and coordinate facility maintenance and repair activities across a portfolio of retail bank locations, ensuring timely and effective service delivery by technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Manage and track work orders related to both preventive and reactive maintenance, as well as routine inspections, to maintain operational standards and compliance.
  • Prepare and manage operating projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, budget requirements, and operational timelines.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of facility-related initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Manage all aspects of budget development, implementation and monitoring.
  • Perform facility inspections, following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
  • Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
  • Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence stakeholders to achieve consensus.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be apparent in existing systems and processes.

What You’ll Need:

  • Must have proven experience in managing commercial facilities, including overseeing daily operations, coordinating maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and managing vendor relationships
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience in managing and overseeing a budget.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong technical aptitude is required.
  • Possessing a foundational understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems required, with experience managing work orders using a CMMS.
  • This role requires strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and positive client interaction.
  • Skilled in navigating the exchange of sensitive and complex information, setting performance expectations, and resolving issues.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • Strong organizational skills complemented by a keen inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
