About the role

In this role you will provide overall support to the Asset Management team in monitoring the performance of an extensive multifamily portfolio for a private equity client. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commercial real estate principles, financial analysis, and displays critical thinking combined with attention to detail.

What you’ll do

·         Support for senior staff in executing the highest performance for a portfolio of multifamily properties to maximize investor returns.

• Conduct research and financial analysis of assigned assets to implement strategic decisions.
• Report on property performance and evaluate risks on P&L statements, development budgets, and loan covenant hurdles.
• Provide general customer service to clients and related contacts.
• Prepare various weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for the portfolio.
• Accompany Asset Manager on site visits to existing portfolio assets.
• Special projects as needed.

What you’ll need

• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven teamwork and leadership though extracurricular activities.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant work or internship experience preferred.
