About the Role:
As an Insurance Analyst, you will perform various tasks within the insurance team. Manage insurance compliance reviews for Agency, institutional, private client and high-profile borrowers as required. Manage flood determination process, force placed insurance and insurance claims as required.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct analysis of Commercial Insurance to ensure compliance with Lender requirements.
- Communicate and provide support in assessing risk between Lender and Borrower needs.
- Review Loan Closing Documents for insurance compliance at loan level.
- Collaborate with Insurer and Borrower to address deficiencies or missing coverage.
- Work with Loan Servicing team to resolve insurance related issues.
- Obtain insurance renewal documents and invoices from relevant parties.
- Utilize CBRE proprietary client systems to review insurance data and run reports.
- Assist in gathering insurance documentation for audits.
- Uphold CBRE RISE values and demonstrate excellence in work quality.
- Adhere to standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Facilitate effective information exchange and mutual understanding within the team.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
- Clear knowledge of Commercial Insurance Coverage for Property, (including Flood, Wind, Earthquake and Terrorism), General Liability (including Workers Comp and Auto), Professional Liability and Umbrella/Excess Liability Insurance.
- Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
