Project Manager – Data Centre Solutions

CBRE is looking for a Project Manager to join our specialist Data Centre Solutions team in Hamar, Norway. The role reports to the Business Unit Head of Projects, Nordics and is site‑based, working closely with operations and a single key client.


Role Overview

You will be responsible for delivering mechanical, electrical, fabric or construction projects from initial client engagement through to handover. Projects vary in scale and complexity and must be delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Manage projects end‑to‑end, from scope definition and tendering to delivery and handover
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to client satisfaction
  • Manage risks (commercial, technical, H&S, and statutory) throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, regulations, QHSE standards, and industry best practice

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Develop and manage project financial plans
  • Monitor margins, costs, and cash flow
  • Produce monthly and ad‑hoc financial reports
  • Work with suppliers and subcontractors to optimise cost and value

Business Development

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of project opportunities
  • Prepare and manage bids, tenders, and proposals
  • Identify opportunities through innovation and new technologies

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and supply partners
  • Work closely with operations to ensure effective collaboration
  • Contribute to management meetings, reporting, and business reviews

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to CBRE project management procedures
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture across all activities
  • Engage suppliers to ensure risks are appropriately managed

Experience & Qualifications

Experience

  • Proven project management experience in M&E, construction, FM, or critical environments
  • Experience delivering projects and developing new opportunities
  • Bidding, tendering, and proposal management experience

Qualifications

  • Technical qualification in construction, mechanical, or electrical discipline
  • Recognised project management qualification
  • Full driver’s licence

Languages

  • English (written and spoken) required
