About the role

As a CBRE Regional Facilities Manager, you'll manage the day-to-day functions of the team responsible for building operations and maintenance within a dedicated region. This job is within the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the client.

What you'll do

  • Will have 5 direct reports.
  • Provide white glove customer service to the clients and their employees. This role manages our FM team in ensuring our clients' employees have the best possible experience in the workplace from the time they pull into the parking lot until they leave.
  • We prefer candidates who have strong customer service skills and are eager to motivate the team for fast response and proactive support to our client’s employees.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients. Conduct client meetings, communicate to clients regarding regional facilities performance, property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, work order progress reports, and other related reports.
  • Prepare for and handle response to severe weather events and natural disasters, including site closures.
  • Run the facilities within a region. Educate and collaborate with other team members to deliver outstanding service levels.
  • Develop and recommend strategic facility management objectives for clients. Prepare capital project budgets and operating budget reports. Prepare periodic operating budget variance reports.
  • Responsible for facility inspections for quality assurance on a periodic basis. Ensure facility procedures align with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Use pc and/or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What you'll need

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States  without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Prefer candidates who have been in the data center sector in facilities in this region.

  • Successful candidate will likely have a degree in engineering and a minimum of six years of related experience and/or training.
  • Facility Management certification preferred. Driver's license is required.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complicated business documents. Ability to respond efficiently to the most critical issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complicated topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to lead and influence with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complicated figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
  • Ability to address high level problems and handle a variety of options in complicated situations. Requires high level analytical and quantitative skills with validated experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
  • Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department timelines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.

  • CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Regional Facilities Manager position is $140,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $150,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
