Job Title – Finance Specialist
About the Role:
The Cash & Bank – Finance Specialist will be responsible for managing end to end cash, banking, and related financial operations, ensuring strong governance, accuracy, and compliance across all processes. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, process excellence, and effective collaboration with cross functional teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, document, and implement policies, processes, and internal controls related to cash management, banking, and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.
- Manage daily banking operations, including cash reconciliations, expense allocation, and revenue allocation.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Payments, Banking, Treasury, Service Desk, OTC, Project teams, and other internal stakeholders.
- Perform reconciliation of revenue and expenses across systems, bank statements, and the general ledger.
- Ensure full compliance with SOX requirements, loss prevention practices, and always maintain audit readiness.
- Minimize unreconciled items and ensure aged open items from bank reconciliations are addressed promptly.
- Process, review, and approve journals and requests with 100% accuracy and in accordance with Best in Class (BIC) standards.
- Review and ensure account reconciliations are prepared and completed with 100% accuracy and high-quality standards.
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional delivery.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and complete related reporting activities adhering to BIC standards.
- Manage Pay in Full (PIF) requests and payment voiding activities as required.
- Identify, propose, and implement process enhancements, best practices, and automation opportunities to improve productivity and output quality.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; professional certifications are an added advantage.
- Experience in managing multi site cash and banking operations with diverse income streams.
- Strong reconciliation capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English, including strong verbal and business writing skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with management across Finance and Business teams.
- Experience working in a large global organisation and within a matrix structure.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Solid understanding of finance systems and technical integrations; experience with SAP, AX Dynamics & PeopleSoft/MyFinance is an advantage.
- Willingness to work from the office during the KT and Stabilization phase, followed by hybrid work as per management direction.
- Commitment to going the extra mile to achieve high-quality outcomes.
- Flexibility and adaptability to support management with process improvement, AI, and finance transformation initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
