We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management contractor to support the delivery of FM services across a commercial property portfolio in Canberra.

This is a hands-on contract role requiring someone who can hit the ground running, manage day-to-day operations, and maintain service continuity across quality commercial assets. You’ll step into an established environment with systems, processes and support already in place.

This role suits someone available immediately and comfortable working autonomously within a professional facilities management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day facilities management across a commercial asset portfolio
  • Contractor coordination across essential services, mechanical, electrical and general maintenance
  • Oversight of WHS, statutory and essential services compliance
  • Tenant liaison and issue resolution
  • Management of reactive works and preventative maintenance
  • Use of established FM systems for reporting and documentation
  • Support the wider FM team to ensure consistent service delivery

About You
  • You’re an experienced facilities professional who can step into a contract role with minimal handover. You’ll bring:
  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or Assistant Facilities Manager
  • Strong understanding of building operations, WHS and compliance
  • Confidence managing contractors and stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise and work independently
  • Availability to start immediately or at short notice
