CBRE is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support the delivery of first-class facilities management services across a portfolio of A-Grade commercial assets in Canberra, managed for IFM Investors.
Working alongside an experienced Senior Facilities Manager, this role is ideal for someone ready to move beyond coordination tasks and develop their technical, compliance and stakeholder management capability within a structured, professional FM environment.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring assets operate efficiently, safely and to a high standard, while delivering a positive experience for tenants and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of A-Grade commercial buildings
- Assist with contractor management across essential services, mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades
- Help coordinate preventative maintenance programs and reactive works
- Support compliance with WHS, statutory and essential services requirements
- Act as a point of contact for tenants, responding to requests and issues professionally and promptly
- Assist with reporting, audits and use of CBRE systems and processes
- Collaborate with the Facilities Manager on sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You’re proactive, organised and keen to grow your career in facilities management. You may be an AFM, Facilities Coordinator or have a strong operational background ready to step up. You’ll also bring:
- A working understanding of building compliance, WHS and essential services
- Confidence dealing with contractors and multiple stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A customer-focused mindset and professional communication style
- A willingness to learn and develop within a portfolio environment
