About the Role:

As a CBRE Compliance Director - Field Compliance Officer, you will serve as an independent ethics and compliance leader responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance, ethics governance, and compliance risk management within your assigned territory. 
Operating independently from the business and aligned with the Global Risk, Ethics & Compliance organization, you will provide objective challenge, guidance, and escalation on material compliance and regulatory risks, while supporting leadership in meeting their obligations under applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards.


What You’ll Do:

• Develop, recommend, and administer robust risk management, mitigating, and loss prevention programs.
• Perform highly complex system assessments to confirm compliance with all appropriate regulations, practices, and policies for initiatives, inspections, and training.
• Strengthen regulatory compliance and territorial accountability.
• Formalize governance and escalation authority.
• Elevate ethics, speak up, and culture stewardship.
• Represent and inform management on industry and trade changes. Research best practices to conduct innovative risk evaluations.
• Support and develop standard risk metrics and advanced monitoring techniques.
• Liaise and communicate with internal and external business groups about various risks and opportunities.
• Spearhead risk management committee meetings and relevant Project Management meetings.
• Create internal frameworks and conduct anti-fraud investigations. Perform key control testing.
• Train junior team members on risk awareness.
• Apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles, advanced techniques, and theories to create unprecedented solutions.
• Showcase in-depth expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, and/or technologies within own function.
• Use experience and knowledge of all job areas within a function, practical experience in several functional areas or businesses, or concentrated knowledge of a particular discipline to coach and guide others.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Negotiates with senior management, customers, regulators, or vendors to influence decisions of strategic importance. Anticipate 
potential objections, and persuade others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different
point of view.
• Drive the direction and resource allocation for programs, projects, or services.
• Significantly impact the design of policies and procedures. Provide moderate impact on the business direction
through the development of innovative services or products.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Multi-dimensional, conceptual, and innovative thinking to develop new solutions.
• Ability to identify and solve the most complex problems.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary range being offered for the Compliance Director is between $180,000 annually and $190,000 annually. The compensation that is provided to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
