About the Role:

This role will support the Project Management function for a large pharmaceutical client covering facilities projects for about 5 Boston/ Cambridge sites. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion as well as all related paperwork.

Expenses covered to travel to Branford, CT site once or twice per month. This is an onsite role in Cambridge Monday-Friday.


What You'll Do:

  • Supporting Research & Development Engineering Services, this role will perform all areas of construction management for Life science Research & Development Lab projects. This includes planning, development, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with Lab end-users, business ops, and Facilities Engineering to prepare all elements of the project for delivery to client sites.
  • Preparation of the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budgets, work plan schedules & achievements, quality change-control documents, and risk identification documentation (SRA/JSA/LMRA).
  • Work with the CBRE Procurement team to identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Work closely with Environmental Health & Safety partners to authorize vendor performed installation activities in a controlled Permit-to-Work system.
  • Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
  • Report project updates to multiple groups on a regular basis using tools such as MS Project, MS Powerpoint, MS Power BI, Veeva QMS
  • Maintain all project documentation according to company and client governance requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Demonstrated ability to look-ahead, think-ahead and to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans early in the project life cycle.
  • Provide creative options to project stakeholders to pursue progress when facing roadblocks.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.


What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or scientific field preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; PowerPoint, Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities, this role communicates across audiences from several different professional backgrounds.
  • Willingness to take a new point of view on existing solutions.
  • Experience working in Life-science/Pharmaceutical R&D or cGMP environment is a plus.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Project Management Consultant position is $130,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Project Management Consultant position is $140,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
