As a Cost Manager, you’ll be the trusted financial partner on projects—ensuring costs are transparent, controlled, and aligned with value, quality, and timelines across the full project lifecycle.

🛠️ What You’ll be responsible for

• Preparing detailed cost estimates at all project stages
• Developing and managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial models
• Maintaining up-to-date cost data and delivering post-contract cost analyses
• Preparing tender documentation and supporting tender processes with project teams
• Reviewing, comparing, and evaluating contractor and supplier offers
• Monitoring cost performance and forecasting final project costs
• Reviewing and validating payment applications and progress claims
• Assessing, negotiating, and advising on variations and additional works
• Providing clear, expert cost advice aligned with scope, schedule, and quality
• Attending site visits to verify progress, quantities, and potential risks
• Supporting technical and commercial discussions with key stakeholders

✅ What You Bring

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• Experience in cost estimation, cost control, quantity surveying, or technical preparation
• Strong understanding of construction market prices and cost drivers
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data
• Clear communication style and the ability to collaborate across disciplines
