About the Role:

As a CBRE Client Consulting Consultant, you will be responsible for advisory services in relation to global real estate operations and investments, specifically focusing on portfolio strategy, financial forecasting, and site-level analysis. Oversee a variety of research initiatives used in the development of client deliverables. This job is part of the Client Consulting function.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and build complex, formula-driven analytical workbooks to evaluate global site constraints, portfolio performance, and long-range financial forecasting.
  • Perform sophisticated scenario modeling to assess the impact of stay-vs-go decisions, consolidations, and expansions across international markets.
  • Lead Occupancy Performance Reviews (OPR) and develop VP-level allocation models to track space utilization and cost distribution across business units.
  • Review financial information and additional data for a range of deliverables. Examples include market plans, process improvements, management practices, and business unit communications.
  • Study fiscal impact of real estate transactions using net present value analysis, IRR, and company and/or client specific processes.
  • Present research on industry best practice and benchmarks to the client and develop strategic real estate plans.
  • Work with cross-functional internal teams to meet the business unit’s real estate requirements. Suggest initiatives to reduce cost and maximize value for the client's portfolio. Aid with real estate-related communications for senior client representatives.
  • Develop reports to encourage optimization across many activities. Examples include organizational design, process improvement, and management practices.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a mastery of complex formulas and the ability to build automated, scalable workbooks for global data sets.
  • Advanced ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information, specifically regarding site-specific constraints and strategic scenario modeling based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with a focus on data visualization and executive reporting.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning tools is highly desired to drive innovation in portfolio analysis. Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Global Portfolio Strategy Consultant position is $91,500 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $125,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
