Job Responsibilities:

·  Experience in high-voltage/medium-voltage equipment handling will be an added advantage. Carry out troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of VCBs (Vacuum Circuit Breakers), ACBs (Air Circuit Breakers), and other switchgear.

·       Perform electrical control wiring, panel wiring, and relay logic testing.

·       Responsible for substation operation and maintenance, including monitoring, fault identification, and corrective actions.

·       Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring strict adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.

·       Implement and promote energy conservation practices and efficient operation modes to reduce power losses and optimize energy use.

·       Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, breakdown analysis, and test reports.

·       Coordinate with the operations team to minimize downtime and ensure reliable power distribution.

·       Adhere to all safety standards and statutory regulations while working on electrical systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·       Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.

·       Strong hands-on experience in VCB, ACB, control wiring, relay logic, and substation O&M.

·       Expertise in electrical drawings, schematics, troubleshooting techniques, and relay controls.

·       Proven ability to follow preventive maintenance schedules effectively.

·       Knowledge and awareness of energy conservation measures and techniques to improve operational efficiency.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Familiarity with safety practices and statutory compliance.
