CBRE is seeking a Retail Manager to manage a portfolio of institutionally owned retail assets on behalf of IFM Investors.
You will take responsibility for centre performance, retailer relationships, financial outcomes and operational excellence, while being actively developed for future Senior Retail Manager or Centre Manager opportunities.
This role sits within a supportive, high‑performing retail team and offers strong systems, mentoring and visibility with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day retail centre management, including retailer engagement and issue resolution
- Oversight of leases, occupancy and tenancy compliance
- Management of centre financial performance, including budgets, outgoings and monthly reporting
- Preparation of owner reports and contribution to asset strategy
- Strong relationship management with retailers, IFM Investors and service partners
- Collaboration with facilities, marketing and operations teams
- Ensuring centres are presented to a high standard and operate efficiently
What You’ll Bring
- Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence (QLD), or willingness to obtain
- Experience as a Retail Manager or Assistant Centre Manager, or related property management experience
- Solid understanding of retail leasing and centre operations desirable
- Strong financial capability across budgets and reporting
- Confident stakeholder and retailer engagement skills
- Organised, proactive and commercially focused approach
- Strong Microsoft Office and property systems experience
