About the role:

The APAC Consulting Team helps clients solve complex business problems and build distinct advantages for their location strategies and real estate portfolio (including retail, office and data centres) using our holistic approach of rigorous analytics and market insights.

The Team is looking for a team member to support the APAC Consulting Team in conducting a variety of analyses. The data analyst needs to understand client requirements and design the appropriate workflows to solve for these challenges faced by occupiers and investors. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to conduct primary and secondary research to develop market insights.

What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate with project leads to prepare comprehensive analyses, including retail analytics, geospatial modelling, location and labor market evaluations, and data center insights.
  • Design and automate data workflows to streamline processes.
  • Utilize Python (e.g., BeautifulSoup) for web scraping and data collation.
  • Prepare impactful reports and presentations using Microsoft suite products, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Drive the development of individual workstreams, from workflow design to research and output creation.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and maintain robust repositories of primary and secondary data sources.

What You'll Bring:
  • A degree in Finance, Real Estate, Computer Science, or GIS.
  • 0-2 years of experience in analytics or market research, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • A keen ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex data and documents, with an inquisitive nature and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Python, and GIS software or data analysis and visualization tools such as Alteryx or Tableau is highly regarded.
