About The Role:

As a Loan Servicing Analyst for the Loan Setup department, your primary responsibility will be auditing and reviewing mortgage loan documents and entering pertinent loan data into the mortgage loan servicing systems.  Other activities include system file maintenance updates, communicating and obtaining required loan documentation as well as handling conversion and deconversion of loans.

What You’ll Do:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily.
  • Act as a contact for loan servicers, originators and lenders to coordinate the transfer of new loan information and files from all parties involved.
  • Review, enter and maintain loan data in the loan servicing system based on mortgage documents. Follow up and ensure receipt of all outstanding loan documents such as Deeds of Trust, Insurance, Taxes, 3rd Party Reports, etc.
  • Reconcile and resolve discrepancies between closing funds and loan funding documentation.
  • Coordinate the conversion and deconversion process of reports, data files, system updates, audits, funds transfers, etc. of varying sized loan portfolio transfers.
  • Work with Business Analytics Team to map loan data between incoming data sources and loan servicing systems for large portfolio conversions.
  • Process requests from other departments to update and correct current loan servicing system information via workflow side system.
  • Reconcile new loan information between CBRE pipeline system and the loan servicing system. 
  • Guide CBRE Producers on required files and information for serviced deals in the CBRE pipeline system.
  • Provide data files and coordinate document delivery to Master Servicers on securitized portfolios.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and carry out standard instructions and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
  • Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
  • Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Requires basic analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of the McCracken Strategy loan servicing software is preferred.
  • Comprehension of servicing transfers.
  • Ability to interpret loan documents.
  • Must be organized, efficient, capable, and adaptable of handling and prioritizing numerous assignments and deadlines simultaneously. Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and meet timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to various parties: co-workers, supervisors. borrowers, clients, other departments, etc.
